Your First QueerMCR Event

Coming alone? Good.

We know the first five minutes can be the hardest. Lots of people attend QueerMCR events without knowing anyone, and you don't need a group to come along.

Before you arrive

Check your event's ticket page for the venue, date, arrival time and what's included. Plan your journey and bring your ticket confirmation. If you need accessibility information, ask us before booking so we can check the details for that venue.

When you get there

Look for the event team or ask at the venue where the event is taking place. You can let us know you're attending solo and would appreciate an introduction. There is no expectation to flirt, drink or make friends instantly.

What should I wear?

Whatever makes you feel comfortable and like yourself. Some events have specific themes, so check the individual listing for any particular requirements.

Who are the events for?

QueerMCR's sapphic events are for women and non-binary people attracted to women, including trans women and trans non-binary people. Always read the specific event description for eligibility and age restrictions.
